The process starts with movement selection and customization. Our horologists carefully evaluate each caliber, testing accuracy across six positions before the decoration process begins. Côtes de Genève stripes are applied to the mainplate, while perlage finishing adorns the baseplate — techniques that have remained unchanged for centuries.
Case manufacturing is an art unto itself. Blocks of 316L surgical-grade stainless steel are CNC-machined to tolerances measured in microns, then hand-finished through multiple stages of polishing. The interplay of brushed and polished surfaces creates the distinctive light-catching character that defines Regalia’s design language.
Dial production involves layers of lacquer, metallic pigments, and careful hand-application of indices and hour markers. Our skeleton dials require additional precision — each bridge and component visible through the dial must be individually finished, as the movement itself becomes the visual centerpiece.
Assembly brings all these elements together under magnification. A single watchmaker takes ownership of each timepiece from start to finish, ensuring consistency and personal accountability. After assembly, every watch enters our quality control laboratory for a minimum 72-hour power reserve test, water resistance verification, and chronometric accuracy assessment. Only then does a Regalia watch earn its place on your wrist.
